Fishing Derby – The annual Warrington Township Fishing Derby, will be held on Warrington Community Day, September 22, between the hours of 9 and 11 AM. The fishing location will be along the Little Neshaminy Creek, accessed from the Bradford Dam Trail in John Paul Park @Lower Nike. This event is open to children between the ages of 5 to 15, who must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Prizes will be awarded to the lucky anglers who catch the biggest fish (bass and sunfish), the smallest fish, and the most fish during the morning. Participating children must bring their own fishing tackle. Bait will be provided, FREE. Among this year’s prizes is a Gift Certificate to a local fishing store.
